"The Auxiliary" went to South Korea, home of the BIFAN, taking place every summer from June 27 to July 7. The movie was selected in the "Bucheon Choice" category and therefore, received its second Silver Méliès nomination.
"L'Auxiliaire" est allé en Corée du Sud, où se déroule chaque été le BIFAN, du 27 juin au 7 juillet. Le film fut repris dans la catégorie "Bucheon Choice", lui ayant offert ainsi sa deuxième nomination Méliès.

The organizers offered the director an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the festival for 4 days. Eventually, the director declined the invitation with regret, because it was a 12 hours flight just to get there and, ahem, let's say he has never been too much in love with aeronautics.
Les organisateurs avaient proposé un voyage tous frais payés au réalisateur pour assister au festival pendant 4 jours. Mais finalement, le réalisateur déclina à regret l'invitation, car un vol en aller simple durait déjà 12 heures et disons, hum, qu'il n'a jamais été un grand passionné d'aéronautique.
