"The Auxiliary" arrived in Vienna for its selection at the Bio-Fiction Science Art Film Festival. It was held from September 23 to September 24 2019. This edition's theme was entitled "Future Body". It was a focus on neurotechnology and how it shapes the future of the human body, mind, intelligence and society.

Il mettait en avant la neurotechnologie et la façon dont elle façonne l'avenir du corps, de l'esprit, de l'intelligence et de la société humaine.

Four or five days before the end of the festival, the organizers invited the director to attend the closing ceremony. Unfortunately, it was not possible to book a flight on such a short notice. This time, however, Frederic Plasman was ready to overcome his fear of flying. Therefore they decided to have a skype live conversation. During the call, the director learned that the movie had actually won the first prize in the fiction category.
Quatre ou cinq jours avant la fin du festival, les organisateurs ont invité le réalisateur à assister à la cérémonie de remise des prix. Malheureusement, le délai était trop court et aucun vol n'était disponible. Pourtant, cette fois, Frédéric Plasman était prêt à surmonter sa peur de l'avion. En conséquence, il fut décidé de faire une conversation en direct, via skype. Pendant celle-ci, le réalisateur apprit que le film avait, en fait, remporté le prix de la meilleure fiction.
